Women’s Lacrosse Releases 2025 Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Head coach Jenny Levy has announced the North Carolina women's lacrosse team's schedule for the upcoming 2025 season, featuring seven home games at Dorrance Field.
The Tar Heels kick off the 2025 slate with their season and home opener against James Madison on Feb. 7. Two days later, they hit the road for their first away contest at Liberty on Feb. 9 in Lynchburg, Virginia, before heading to the Sunshine State on Feb. 15 to meet Florida in Gainesville.
Atlantic Coast Conference action commences on Feb. 22 when Carolina welcomes Syracuse to Chapel Hill. UNC then travels to Kentucky to face Louisville on Feb. 28 before returning to Dorrance Field for a three-game homestand against Temple (March 4), Virginia (March 8) and Clemson (March 15).
Carolina is back on the road for three consecutive away games to round out the month of March. The Tar Heels will play Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, on March 20. A visit to Evanston, Illinois, to take on Northwestern will happen on March 27 followed by a matchup at Notre Dame on March 30 in South Bend, Indiana.
The final four games of the regular season will be played in the state of North Carolina. UNC hosts defending national champion Boston College on April 5 in Chapel Hill before going to Greenville to face East Carolina on April 9 for the nonconference finale. UNC hosts new ACC member Cal on April 13 before its Tobacco Road rivalry game with Duke on April 17 in Durham.
First round games of the ACC Tournament will be held at campus sites on April 20. All quarterfinal (April 23) and semifinal (April 25) games, as well as the championship game on April 27, are at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The 2025 NCAA Tournament Final Four will be in Foxborough, Massachusetts, at Gillette Stadium. Semifinals are set for May 23 with the championship on May 25.
