Humphrey Wins National, ACC Player-Of-The-Week Honors, Again

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina women's lacrosse attacker Chloe Humphrey has been named IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week and ACC Offensive Player of the Week, the organizations announced on Tuesday. Humphrey had a monster week, posting 12 goals, four assists and nine caused turnovers in ranked wins against No. 11 Clemson and No. 21 Pitt.

Humphrey started the week against Clemson by scoring seven goals, adding two assists and setting a career high with five caused turnovers. She came back against Pitt with five goals, two assists and four caused turnovers.

For the season, Humphrey has tallied 36 goals, 15 assists, 51 points, 10 groundballs and 13 caused turnovers. Her 36 goals leads the nation and her 51 points rank second, despite playing two games less than the national leader. She's also one of only two players who has recorded at least 30 goals and 15 assists.

Next up, the Heels travel to Berkeley, Calif. on Thursday, March 12 to take on Cal. That game will start at 7 p.m. ET and air on ACCNX.
