Men's Lacrosse Releases 2025 Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Entering year 17 under the direction of head coach Joe Breschi, the North Carolina men's lacrosse program released its 2025 schedule on Tuesday. Â
Â
The 13-contest slate features eight home games at Dorrance Field and five road matchups, as well as the ACC Men's Lacrosse Tournament.

Carolina begins the year with back-to-back weekends in Chapel Hill, hosting Michigan (Feb. 8) and Stony Brook (Feb. 14), before traveling to Johns Hopkins on Feb. 22.

For the second-straight season, the Tar Heels will host Penn (Feb. 28) and Princeton (March 2) in the same weekend.

The matchup with the Tigers begins a five-game month of March for Carolina, including home games against Hofstra (March 8) and Jacksonville (March 16), and road trips to High Point (March 21) and Army (March 29).

Carolina will play all four Atlantic Coast Conference contests in the final month of the regular season, playing host to Virginia (April 5) and Notre Dame (April 19), and hitting the road to face Duke (April 12) and Syracuse (April 26).

The 2025 ACC Tournament will be played at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte during the first weekend in May, with the semifinals on May 2 and the championship held on May 4.

• Carolina meets Michigan for the third time in program history, the first since the 2016 season opener.Â
• Since 1981, Carolina and Johns Hopkins have played in all but one year (2021), including nine times in the NCAA Tournament.
• The Tar Heels' road trip to Army is the first meeting in West Point since 1983.
• The Tar Heels will face Virginia for the 86th time and Duke for the 82nd occasion, the most among any opponents in program history.
• The schedule features seven teams who made the NCAA Tournament a year ago, and nine teams that finished the 2024 campaign ranked in the top 20.
