Bacot & Davis Named To Naismith Trophy Midseason Team

North Carolina's Armando Bacot and RJ Davis both have earned spots on the 2024 Naismith Trophy Men's College Player of the Year Midseason Team, announced on Thursday afternoon.
The Tar Heels are among four teams to place two players on the 30-man list along with Houston, Kansas and Purdue.
Other Atlantic Coast Conference players on the list include Duke's Kyle Filipowski and Clemson's PJ Hall.
Bacot leads the ACC in rebounding and is averaging a double-double with at 14.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per contest. Davis has led the ACC in scoring throughout most of the season, currently averaging 21.4 ppg while hitting 41.1 percent of his three-point attempts.
