Wolfpack Tops Women's Tennis, 4-3

RALEIGH, N.C. -- In its rematch against No. 14 NC State (15-4, 5-1), the No. 6 North Carolina Tar Heels (13-3, 6-1) fell to the Wolfpack, 3-4 in Raleigh.
In doubles action, Fiona Crawley and Carson Tanguilig picked up a 6-3 win on court one over State's top doubles duo. Shortly after, one court three, Abbey Forbes and Reilly Tran clinched the doubles point for the Tar Heels after they won 6-3.
In singles play, Elizabeth Scotty won 6-0, 6-2 to give UNC its second point of the match. Later, Anika Yarlagadda added Carolina's third point after she won 6-3, 6-2.
After dropping points on courts one, three and four, singles play came down to court six where Tatum Evans forced a third set but fell short, 1-6, 6-4, 4-6.
