Men's Swim & Dive Ready For NCAA Championships

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina men's swimming and diving team is set to compete in the 2024 NCAA Championships this week, March 27-30, at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.

The event starts Wednesday night with the 200-yard medley and 800-yard freestyle relays. The remainder of the championships will have prelims each day beginning at 10 a.m. ET with the finals slated for 6 p.m. All four days of the event will be streamed on ESPN+.

A total of 270 participants (235 swimmers and 35 divers) will compete in the championships.

Louis Dramm is one of two Tar Heels set to compete in three events. He will swim the 200 and 400 IM and the 200 butterfly. A year ago, Dramm placed 14th in the 400 IM and earned second-team All-America honors. Freshman Ben Delmar will race in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 400 IM. Newcomer Sebastian Lunak will compete in the 100 and 200 butterfly, and senior Boyd Poelke will race in the 100 butterfly.

Senior diver Alex Hart will compete in the 3-meter springboard.

Three of the Tar Heels' relay teams—the 200 freestyle, 400 medley, and 800 freestyle—made the field, with Walker Davis, Patrick Hussey, Noah Rutberg, and Matthew Van Deusen serving as relay alternates.
