The North Carolina men's tennis team will host a pair of ranked Atlantic Coast Conference rivals at home this weekend in Chapel Hill.
The Tar Heels will host Virginia on Friday at 5 p.m. and Virginia Tech on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Chewning Tennis Center. Friday's match will be included in the ACC CrossCourt Cast on ACCNX (watch).
Carolina has won five consecutive matches and is 9-3 overall this season, including 2-0 in ACC play. UNC opened conference action last weekend with home wins over then-No. 37 Georgia Tech and No. 68 Clemson. The Tar Heels are 8-1 at home in 2024.
Virginia, the defending NCAA champion, is 10-4 overall and 2-0 in the ACC. The Cavaliers reached the semifinals of the ITA Team Indoor National Championship last month and beat both Wake Forest and NC State at home in Charlottesville, Va., last weekend.
The Hokies are 7-3 and 0-2 in the ACC. They lost at home to both NC State and Wake Forest last weekend and will play at Duke on Friday evening before their match in Chapel Hill on Sunday.
