Cormac Ryan Named To All-ACC Academic Team

North Carolina's Cormac Ryan was named to the 2023-24 All-ACC Academic Team for men's basketball, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Thursday.
On the court, Ryan averaged 11.5 points in 36 games for the Tar Heels during the 2023-24 season, hitting 75 three-point field goals and converting 87.4 percent of his free throw attempts.
In the classroom at Notre Dame, Ryan majored in management consulting in the Mendoza College of Business and finished his MBA in the spring of 2023 with a concentration in strategy and entrepreneurship. He is pursuing a masters degree in applied professional studies at Carolina.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
