LOUISVILLE, Ky. --Â In its first of two weekend road matches, the No. 4 North Carolina Tar Heels (18-3, 11-1) defeated the Louisville Cardinals (4-17, 0-12), 4-0 in Louisville.
In doubles action, Elizabeth Scotty and Thea Rabman quickly put Carolina in position to clinch the doubles point after the duo won, 6-1. Shortly after, the No. 13 ranked duo of Fiona Crawley and Carson Tanguilig clinched the doubles point for Carolina with a 6-2 victory.
In singles play, Carson Tanguilig gave Carolina its second point after she picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win on court three. On court two, Elizabeth Scotty recorded UNC's third point of the match after she won 6-2, 6-2. Finally, on court one, Fiona Crawley clinched the match for the Tar Heels after she won 6-1, 6-2.
