Men's Soccer, ETSU Meet Monday Night

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The No. 17 North Carolina men's soccer team (2-0-1) hosts East Tennessee State (1-1-1) Monday evening, in game two of the Carolina Nike Classic.

• The first 150 fans in attendance Monday evening will receive a free hot dog, in honor of the Labor Day match.
Carolina Nike Classic
• This weekend is the first time since 2022 the Carolina Nike Classic returns to the Tar Heel schedule.
• The Tar Heels are 33-7-3 all-time in the event, dating back to 1998.
• On Thursday, the Tar Heels defeated FIU, 3-1.
All-Time Against ETSU
• Monday is the eighth all-time meeting between the two programs, a 6-1-0 mark in favor of Carolina.
• Carolina is 4-1-0 against the Buccaneers in Chapel Hill.
• Last season, the Tar Heels defeated ETSU 2-1 on the road.
