Football To Host Pitt Oct. 5 At Noon On ESPN Or ESPN2

CHAPEL HILL – The game time for North Carolina's home game against Pittsburgh on Saturday, Oct. 5, has been set for noon ET and will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2.

The homecoming game will be the 18th meeting between the Tar Heels and the Panthers, with Carolina holding a 12-5 advantage in the series. UNC has won the last two meetings, including last season's 41-24Â road victory.
Network designation for the game will be announced following contests on Sept. 28.
