Women’s Soccer Returns Home For Ranked Matchup Against Virginia

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – One of just two teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference without a league loss this season, the fourth-ranked North Carolina women's soccer team returns to Chapel Hill for a big ranked matchup against No. 19 Virginia on Friday, Sept. 27. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. ET at Dorrance Field.
The game will air on ACCNX with Matt Krause and former UNC women's soccer standout Brianna Pinto, who currently plays for NC Courage in the NWSL, on call. Tickets are available for purchase here.

- The Tar Heels are 17-2-1 all-time against the Cavaliers in Chapel Hill. UNC has out-scored UVA 137-31, including 62-15 at home.
- This will be Carolina's second ranked contest this season. UNC defeated then-No. 16 Georgia, 4-3, on Aug. 22 at home.

- Junior Maddie Dahlien returns to Chapel Hill after earning bronze with the U.S. Youth National Team at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Colombia. She had two goals, one assist and forced the game-winning own goal in the bronze-medal match.
