Another week of the 2024 National Women's Soccer League is in the books. The latest weekend slate was highlighted by Avery Patterson notching her second professional assist for Houston Dash.Â
Savy King and Ally Sentnor are currently representing the United States U20 National Team at the 2024 FIFA U20 World Cup in Colombia. They are two of eight players on the U.S. roster currently playing in the NWSL.Â
Bay FC

Bay FC secured a 1-0 win over Racing Louisville FC. Bailey started the match and logged a full game. Allen was available as a sub but was not used.
King was named to the United States U-20 National Team which is playing in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia. She reunited with former Tar Heel teammates Ally Sentnor (Utah Royals) and Maddie Dahlien (UNC junior) on the U.S. roster.
King helped Team USA place second in Group C and advance to the Round of 16. The defender has 15 caps.Â
NJ/NY Gotham FC

NJ/NY Gotham FC defeated Houston Dash, 2-1. Dunn played in her second match back from the Olympics, starting the match and logging 63 minutes.
Dunn had been on international duty to represent the United States in her third Olympic Games in France, helping Team USA win the gold medal for the fifth time in USWNT history. Dunn had the game-winning assist in the quarterfinals. It was her second Olympic medal in her third Games; She also earned bronze in 2021.Â
Houston Dash

Houston Dash took a 2-1 loss to NJ/NY Gotham FC. Nielsen and Patterson were both part of the Starting XI and logged a full 90 minutes. Patterson assisted the Dash's lone goal, which was her second assist of the year.

North Carolina Courage secured a huge 4-1 win at San Diego Wave. Pinto subbed in during the 73rd minute. Maycee Bell, who was drafted No. 14 overall to NJ/NY Gotham FC, was traded to North Carolina Courage a few weeks ago. She made her Courage debut in the 88th minute.Â
Dorsey, who was drafted with the No. 40 overall pick, was placed on loan to Dallas Trinity FC in the USL Super League through 2024. She will be reunited with former UNC teammate Sam Meza who was also loaned to Dallas Trinity FC by Seattle Reign.
Portland Thorns

Portland Thorns suffered a 2-1 loss to Washington Spirit. Klingenberg was available as a sub but was not used.Â
Seattle Reign FC

Seattle Reign won a dramatic 3-2 win over Angel City FC for its third straight road win. Dickey started the match and made five saves between the posts.Â
Meza, who was drafted with the No. 17 overall pick, was placed on loan to Dallas Trinity FC in the USL Super League through 2024. She will be reunited with former UNC teammate Julia Dorsey who was also loaned to Dallas Trinity FC by NC Courage.
Utah Royals

Sentnor was named to the United States U-20 National Team which is playing in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia. She joins former Tar Heel teammates Savy King (Bay FC) and Maddie Dahlien (UNC junior) on the U.S. roster.
Sentnor, named team captain, scored her first goal of the tournament against Paraguay in the Group C finale. She helped Team USA advance to the Round of 16.Â
She is the USA's most-capped player and top scorer with 19 caps and 10 international goals.
