January 9, 2025 | Swimming & Diving
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina swimming and diving will renew its rivalry against Duke on Friday, Jan. 10 at 5 p.m. in Chapel Hill.
Before the meet starts, UNC will honor its graduating senior class in a pre-meet ceremony.
As part of the celebration, the team will have fans in the crowd compete for different prizes throughout the meet: tickets to the UNC vs. Duke Men's Basketball game, an autographed basketball by Coach Hubert Davis, brand-new Nike shoes, and finally, a swag bag filled with UNC Swim & Dive gear and a gift card.
If fans can't make it to Koury Natatorium, the meet will air on ACCNX with results available live on Meet Mobile.
The Last Time Out: Aranza Vázquez Montaño earned ACC Diver Of The Week honors last week as she won two different events while at the University of Georgia Invitational.
Rankings: Both North Carolina squads are ranked in the top 25 of the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America rankings. The men's team is ranked at No. 12 and the women are at No. 17. Duke's women's squad heads into Koury Natatorium as the 20th-ranked team in the country.
