Men's Basketball Promotions For December Home Games Revealed
December 4, 2025 | Men's Basketball
The Carolina men's basketball promotional schedule for December home games is here.
The Tar Heels host five home games at the Dean E. Smith Center this month with fun promotions and themes planned, including a throwback game, a toy drive and more.
This Sunday, December 7, the Tar Heels host Georgetown for a throwback game. Carolina will wear their retro uniforms and fans are encouraged to wear their favorite vintage UNC gear. The first 2,500 UNC students in attendance will receive a retro UNC rally towel. Sunday's matchup with the Hoyas is presented by Carolina Senior Marketing.
Carolina men's basketball is hosting a toy drive in partnership with game sponsor Wegmans and the UNC Children's Hospital. When the Tar Heels host USC Upstate on December 13, fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game to support UNC Children's Hospital. Donated toys are available at the hospital's holiday gift shop for families who are in the hospital during the holidays. The parents can come pick out donated toys for their children at no cost to them. Can't make the game? You can check out the hospital's holiday wish list on Amazon.
Get ready to let the dogs out when the Tar Heels host ETSU on Dec. 16. Stay in your seats at halftime as Carolina holds a puppy race in partnership with Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary. Cheer on your favorite pup as they take the floor for a one-of-a-kind halftime show.
The Tar Heels have two chances to celebrate in late December. Wear your ugly holiday sweaters and spread holiday cheer when ECU visits on Dec. 22. Photos with holiday Rameses will be available on the concourse pre-game for early arriving fans, presented by CITGO. Then, help Carolina ring in the Blue Year when it welcomes Florida State to the Smith Center on Dec. 30th. Wear your Carolina Blue and cheer on the team as it opens ACC play.
Promotions are subject to change, and additional theme nights and promotions for home games in 2026 will be announced on a later date. Single-game tickets for home games are still available and can be purchased by clicking here.
