Six Named To Men's Soccer All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Six North Carolina men's soccer players have been named to the 2024 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team, announced Wednesday afternoon.
The Tar Heels selected to the team include Juan Caffaro, Jameson Charles, Tate Johnson, Parker O'Ferral, Bertil Hansen and Sam Williams.
To be named to the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.0 grade-point average for the fall semester and a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Additionally, those selected must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
Caffaro and Williams earn academic honors from the conference for the second-straight year, the third honor of his career for Williams. Additionally, today's announcement is the second academic honor for Williams this offseason, previously earning Scholar All-America recognition in December.
