Duffy Earns ACC Offensive Player Of The Week Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – North Carolina men's lacrosse attackman Owen Duffy has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference's Offensive Player of the Week, announced Tuesday afternoon.
The weekly recognition is the first Player of the Week honor for Duffy in his collegiate career.
In the 20-7 victory Sunday over Jacksonville, Duffy led all players with eight points, via six goals and two assists.
The six-goal showing for the Tar Heel sophomore was a career-high, his third career game with five-or-more goals. In addition, the East Quogue, N.Y. product was one-point shy of his career-high in the Tar Heel victory. This season, Duffy leads Carolina in assists (13) and points (33), ranking second in goals (20).
Up next, Carolina travels to High Point on Friday night at 7 PM.
