No. 19 Rowing Heads South For Sarasota 2K

Chapel Hill, N.C. – The 19th-ranked University of North Carolina rowing program will compete in its second regatta of the season when it travels to Florida for the Sarasota 2K on Friday and Saturday, March 28-29 at Benderson Park. Participating teams will race their V8s, 2V8s and 1V4s in an effort to accumulate points and secure the Benderson Cup. The Heels finished fourth in the standings at last year's event with 105 points.

Racing will commence on Friday with time trials and heats starting at 2 p.m. Finals on Saturday will begin at 9:30 a.m. Event information can be found by clicking HERE, live results are expected to be HERE and a live stream of the races is expected to be available by clicking HERE.
