April 24, 2025 | Women's Rowing
RALEIGH, N.C. – No. 24 North Carolina rowing is back in action in the Triangle this weekend, co-hosting the 2025 Lake Wheeler Invitational with Duke as 18 programs descend on Lake Wheeler Park Friday and Saturday.
Five boats are slated to compete for the Tar Heels, with three sessions between Friday and Saturday.
Racing in the stacked field with four ranked squads in the CRCA Poll, Carolina hopes to make some noise in its final regatta prior to the ACC Championships in May.
Friday's first session begins at 9:30 a.m. and will run until approximately noon. Racing for the second session starts at 2:15 p.m. and will run until around 5 p.m.
Action starts Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and will run until approximately 11:45 a.m.
Entry to the park is free. Parking at the lake is $20 per car, payable by credit card only, and spectators are encouraged to carpool due to limited space.Â
All events from Lake Wheeler this weekend can be streamed on ACCNX and results found via Regatta Timing.
