Rabman Named ITA Carolina Region Most Improved Player

The University of North Carolina's Theadora Rabman is the 2025 ITA Carolina Region Most Improved Player, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced on Tuesday.
Rabman, a sophomore from Port Washington, N.Y., finished the season ranked No. 23 in the ITA singles rankings. She earned All-America status for the 2024-25 season by virtue of reaching the round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championship in Waco, Texas and later was voted second-team All-ACC in singles. Rabman finished the season ranked No. 89 in doubles with Tatum Evans.
She went 23-7 in singles overall, including 15-5 in dual matches and 8-2 in tournament play, holding down the No. 2 singles position for most of the season in the UNC lineup. She also went 20-7 in doubles, including 18-6 with Evans.
A season ago, Rabman finished her freshman campaign with a record of 23-7 and ranked No. 84 in singles play.
