Rowing Lands 19 On CRCA Scholar-Athlete List

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Committed to excellence on the water and in the classroom, 19 student-athletes from rowing have earned designation as a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete.
To be recognized as a CRCA Scholar-Athlete, awardees must be at least a sophomore and boast a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester. Student-athletes also must have rowed in at least 75% of spring races in an NCAA eligible boat or raced in an NCAA boat at their conference championship.
Under the tutelage of head coach Erin Neppel, 19 student-athletes for Carolina earned CRCA Scholar-Athlete in a season where the Tar Heels came in sixth at the ACC Rowing Championships.
