Men's Basketball To Play Preseason Game Vs. BYU In Utah

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—North Carolina will play BYU in Salt Lake City, Utah, in a preseason men's basketball game on Friday, October 24.
The game will be played in the Delta Center, the home of the NBA's Utah Jazz.
It will be the first of two preseason contests for the Tar Heels, who host Winston-Salem State in the Dean E. Smith Center on October 29.
Carolina opens the regular season with a pair of home games in week one against Central Arkansas on November 3 and Kansas on November 7.
The preseason game vs. BYU will mark Carolina's first appearance in Salt Lake City since 1988, when the Tar Heels beat North Texas and Loyola Marymount in the Huntsman Center in the first two rounds of the 1988 NCAA Tournament.
