Record Number Of Tar Heels On ACC Academic Honor Roll

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the 2024-25 Academic Honor Roll on Friday, honoring a total of 7,927 student-athletes for their excellence in the classroom during this past academic year.
A school record 557 Tar Heels were recognized, as for the third straight year UNC tallied more than 500 student-athletes on the honor roll.
The ACC Academic Honor Roll celebrates student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. This marks the sixth straight year in which 5,500 ACC student-athletes have achieved honor roll status.
11 Tar Heels made the ACC Honor Roll for the fifth time, while numerous earned their fourth honor.
