Men’s Lacrosse Tabbed Number One In Inside Lacrosse Media Poll

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – After opening the year with four consecutive wins, including a recent 17-9 victory over No. 14 Johns Hopkins, the North Carolina men's lacrosse team was slotted No. 1 nationally in this week's Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
Carolina, who started 4-0 for the second-straight season, returns to the top spot in the media poll for the first time since March 22, 2021.
The Tar Heels, who earned nine first-place votes, are one of four Atlantic Coast Conference programs ranked in the top-eight by the media.
Up next, Carolina will travel to Penn, ranked No. 19 in this week's media poll, on Friday at 5 PM.
