Brizzi Set To Continue College Career With Tar Heels

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—Angelo Brizzi, a 6-3 guard who has scored 878 points in 105 games over the previous four seasons, is joining the Carolina men's basketball program as a graduate student for the 2026-27 season.
Brizzi averaged a career-high 14.5 points last season at the University of Buffalo. He started all 32 games for the Bulls and averaged nearly 16 points in Mid-American Conference action. He scored 20 or more points eight times, including a career-best 27 against UMass.
Previously, Brizzi played one season at Longwood, Davidson and Villanova, where he first signed and began his collegiate career as a red-shirt in 2021-22.
The Warrenton, Va., native has made 69 career starts, scored in double figures 40 times and hit multiple three-pointers 26 times with a high of eight against South Alabama last season.
