2008 - Senior Season
Underwent knee surgery following the regular season finale at Duke • Recorded 30 catches for 334 yards and two touchdowns this season • Ranked second on the team in receptions • Averaged 11.1 yards per catch • Also rushed for 98 yards on 10 carries • Regarded as one of the Tar Heels' top special teams players • Caught three passes for 33 yards against NC State • Combined for 82 yards against Maryland after rushing twice for 33 yards and catching two balls for 49 yards • Caught two passes for 30 yards and rushed twice for 20 yards in the victory over No. 20 Georgia Tech • Caught seven balls for 64 yards in the win over No. 23 Boston College to reach the 90-reception mark for his career • Named one of the Tar Heels' offensive players of the week against the Eagles • Had three grabs for 28 yards at Virginia • Made three catches for 28 yards versus Notre Dame • Had two catches for 27 yards, including the 14-yard game-winning touchdown with 46 seconds left at Miami • The TD against the Hurricanes was the sixth of his career • Went over the 1,000-yard receiving mark for his career at Miami • Named one of the team's offensive players of the week in the win over the Canes • Against Virginia Tech, had three receptions for 52 yards and ran for a career-best 45 yards on three carries • Made two catches for six yards at Rutgers • Had three catches for 17 yards and a touchdown against McNeese State • Scored fifth career TD on a 4-yard reception from T.J. Second on team with 417 receiving yards • Recorded 29 catches and two touchdowns • Posted two catches for 17 yards at Georgia Tech • Had a team-best 63 yards on four catches at NC State • Made three receptions for 32 yards in the win over Maryland • Had four catches for 24 yards vs. South Carolina • Missed the Miami game due to a quad injury • Held to one catch for four yards and a 4-yard run at Virginia Tech • Tallied two catches for 22 yards at USF • Had seven grabs for a career-best 139 yards against Virginia for his second career 100-yard game • Had two catches for 29 yards at ECU • Made four catches for 87 yards and career-best two touchdowns against James Madison • Scored on a career-long 65-yarder on the third play of the game and added an 8-yarder • Named UNC's co-offensive player of the week.
2006 - Sophomore Season
Entered the season with zero career receptions, but finished second on the team with 38 catches for 486 yards and one touchdown • Had a career-best 39-yard touchdown catch on a pass from Joe Dailey in the first quarter of Carolina's 45-44 victory at Duke • Finished the Duke game with four receptions for 71 yards • Made one reception for 20 yards against NC State • Caught three passes for 57 yards, including a long of 25, against Georgia Tech • Had two catches for 12 yards at Notre Dame • Tied for team high honors with four catches for 49 yards, including a career-long of 35, against Wake Forest • Caught one pass for 14 yards at Virginia • Had two receptions for 28 yards, including 18 yards, against USF • Caught three passes for 35 yards, including a long of 18, against Miami • Had one reception for 14 yards at Clemson • Tied for the team high with three catches for 26 yards, including a long of 13, in the 45-42 win over Furman • Caught three passes for 40 yards and a touchdown against Virginia Tech • The touchdown, an 18-yard pass from Cameron Sexton, was the first of Foster's career • Had 11 receptions for 120 yards against Rutgers • It was the first time a Carolina player had at least 10 receptions in a game since Jarwarski Pollock caught 11 passes against NC State in 2003 • Had six catches for 54 yards in UNC's fourth-quarter TD-scoring drive that cut the lead to 21-16 • The 11 catches are the most ever by a Carolina sophomore in a game.

Played in five games as a reserve wide receiver in 2005, but did not have a catch • Also played on special teams • Redshirted in football in 2004 • Walked on to the 2005 NCAA champion UNC basketball team following the Continental Tire Bowl and played in five basketball games.
