2017 - Sophomore Season

Appeared in 11 games and made one start • Had eight catches for 72 yards on the season • Made his first career start and had a 14-yard reception in the win over WCU • Caught a 14-yard pass against Miami • Had a 4-yard catch against Virginia • Finished with one catch against Notre Dame • Had one reception at Georgia Tech • Caught three passes for 36 yards, including a 23-yard reception, against Louisville.

2016 - Redshirt Freshman Season

Had two catches for 22 yards on the season • Made his first career reception on a 23-yard tipped pass from Trubisky that was originally intended for Switzer • Redshirted in 2015.

St. Andrews High School

Considered the No. 13 tight end in the nation by ESPN.com • Ranked the No. 23 tight end in the country and the No. 86 player in Florida by Rivals • Earned first-team Sun Sentinel all-county honors • Was an honorable-mention 3A all-state selection • Made 47 receptions for 869 yards and eight touchdowns • Caught 54 passes for 1,054 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior • Hauled in 45 receptions for 824 yards and 10 touchdown catches as sophomore • Also returned punts and had several rushing attempts • High school head coach was Steve Howey • Would like to pursue a business degree at UNC • Also played basketball and lacrosse and was offered scholarships to play lacrosse at several Division I schools.
