2021 – Graduate Student Season
Started all 13 games at outside linebacker • All-ACC Third Team • Finished the season with 33 tackles, six hurries and led the team with nine TFL and 8.5 sacks, the fifth most in the ACC • Had two tackles and a half sack in season opener at Virginia Tech • Had a single stop against Georgia State • Had four hurries, a half sack and one tackle against Virginia • Made two stops at Georgia Tech • Had a sack, a hurry and two tackles against Duke • Came up with a season-high five tackles and a half TFL against Florida State • Had a sack for a 9-yard loss, one tackle for loss and two stops against Miami • Recorded three tackles at Notre Dame • Notched a sack and four tackles against Wake Forest • Had a sack for a 10-yard loss and a solo tackle at Pittsburgh • Made two stops against Wofford • Registered a season-high six tackles and 2.5 sacks at NC State • Had two stops and one sack against South Carolina at the Duke's Mayo Bowl.

Started all 12 games at outside linebacker • All-ACC Honorable Mention• Earned the team’s Bill Koman Award for Outstanding Achievement in Academics, Athletics & Leadership • Tied for fifth in program history alongside Lawrence Taylor with 21 career sacks • Tied for seventh with 33 career tackles for loss • Led Carolina with 10.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks (6th ACC), and tied for the club lead with seven QBH • Opened the season with a sack and two TFL against Syracuse • Had a sack and 2.5 TFL at Boston College • Had a pair of sacks and four tackles against NC State • Had a half sack and a TFL at Virginia • Had a sack and a pair of stops against No. 2 Notre Dame • Blocked a PAT, had two hurries and two tackles on Senior Day against Western Carolina • Had two tackles, a half a sack and a hurry at No. 9 Miami • Came up with five tackles and a sack in the Orange Bowl against No. 5 Texas A&M.
2019 – Junior Season
Started all 13 games at outside linebacker • Tied for the team lead with 6.5 sacks and was tied for second with nine TFL • Compiled 41 tackles and ranked second on the team with five QBH • Named to Ted Hendricks Award Preseason Watch List (top defensive end) • Came up with four tackles and a half sack against South Carolina • Set a single-game career high with 3.0 sacks against Miami, the most by a UNC player since Kareem Martin had 3.5 sacks against PItt on Nov. 16, 2013 • Had six tackles against the Hurricanes • Had three tackles and a TFL against App State • Came up with two tackles and one QBH against Clemson • Had five tackles, 1.0 TFL and a 0.5 sack at Georgia Tech • Registered three stops and a sack at Virginia Tech • Had two tackles and a TFL at NC State • Had five tackles, 1.5 sacks and an INT against Temple in the Military Bowl.
2018 - Sophomore Season
Started all eight games he appeared in • Posted 27 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 8.5 TFL, seven pressures, two fumble recoveries and a blocked field goal • Recorded six tackles, a TFL and a pressure at ECU • Tallied seven tackles, a sack, two TFL and two pressures against Pitt • Added three stops and a half TFL versus Virginia Tech • Notched two tackles, a half sack, two pressures, a fumble recovery and a blocked FG at Duke • Posted seven tackles, a sack, 2.5 TFL and a pressure against NC State • Added single-tackle games at Cal and versus Western Carolina.
2017 - Redshirt Freshman Season
Appeared in all 12 games and made the first two starts of his collegiate career • Had 23 tackles, ranked second on the team with 4.0 sacks • Had eight QB hurries and one forced fumble • Had two tackles in the season finale at NC State • Finished with a solo tackle and a QB hurry in the win over WCU • Had three tackles, a sack and two QB hurries in the win at Pitt • Finished with a tackle and three QB hurries against Miami • Had a pair of tackles at Virginia Tech • Notched his first career two-sack game and forced a fumble against Virginia • Finished with a pair of solo tackles and a pass breakup against Notre Dame • Had three tackles, including his first sack of the year, against Duke • Finished with two stops and a QB hurry in the win at ODU • Had three solo tackles and a QB hurry against Louisville • After missing the final 11 games of 2016, redshirt freshman started the season opener against Cal and finished with one tackle.
2016 - True Freshman Season
Played in the first two games of the year before suffering a season-ending knee injury against Illinois • Had four tackles against the Illini.

Member of the ESPN 300, ranking No. 194 overall in the country regardless of position • Tabbed as the No. 19 player in Georgia and the No. 27 defensive end in the country • Considered the No. 12 weak-side defensive end in the nation and the No. 25 overall player in Georgia by Rivals.com • PrepStar All-Southeast Region • Named first-team all-state • As a senior, registered 114 tackles (73 solo), 29 TFL, nine sacks, 34 quarterback hurries, one INT, four PBU, four forced fumbles and blocked two punts • Played in the annual Rivalries of Gwinnett County all-star game • As a junior, was named third team All-County by the Gwinnett Daily Post, finishing the season with 34 tackles (five for loss) and a county-best 13 sacks • NUC Five-Star South Showcase Defensive End MVP • Played in the Georgia Junior-Sophomore Elite Classic • Also competed on the track team • Coached by Kevin Reach.
