Prep: Graduated in June 1999 from Smithtown High School...played two years of varsity lacrosse there as a goalkeeper...was a two-way starter on the football team, playing defensive back and wide receiver...he captained the lacrosse team as a senior...was an All-Division selection...finished third in the county in save percentage and recorded two shutouts...played in Suffolk County all-star game...led lacrosse team to back-to-back super six championships under coach Kevin Huff...on the gridiron, he was an All-Conference selection after leading the county in receiving and averaging more than 10 tackles a game...was chosen as Smithtown’s scholar athlete for both the football and the lacrosse teams....was a member of the National Honor Society and the Italian Honor Society.
