Timmy Kelly, 6-0, 195 pounds
Breschi on Kelly: Timmy Kelly got hurt in the High Point scrimmage and did not play against Ohio State…team captain…we know what he can bring to the table as both an attackman and a midfielder this year…a terrific leader…no one on this team works harder than him.
2019 (Senior): Elected team co-captain with Justin Anderson.
2018 (Junior): Named to All-ACC Academic Team in men’s lacrosse…started in attack unit for Carolina, playing in 13 games overall and starting 11 times…ranked third on the team in goals with 21…also had seven assists…totaled 19 ground balls…his 28 points were the fourth highest total on the squad…had multiple points in the first four games of the season…opened the year with three goals, an assist and three ground balls against Lafayette…had a goal and an assist in overtime win over Furman…recorded a hat trick in overtime triumph against Lehigh…scored a season-high four goals versus Johns Hopkins, including three in the fourth quarter in win over Blue Jays…was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week after the victory over the Blue Jays…recorded a hat trick against Duke to go along with three ground balls…notched a goal and season-high three assists against Virginia…scored a pair of goals in game at Syracuse…scooped up a season high four ground balls against St. John’s…earned honors on 2018-19 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2016 (Freshman): Played in 18 games, starting four times on national championship team… played primarily on the second midfield unit...was the team’s seventh leading scorer with 18 points...scored 10 goals and had eight assists...tallied on 40 percent of his shots...started first four games on attack before moving to second midfield...scored twice in his collegiate opener against Michigan...turned in a tremendous performance against Virginia, scoring once and adding three assists...had four goals and two assists in NCAA Tournament, including two goals versus Loyola and a goal and an assist against Notre Dame...scooped up three ground balls against Furman...named to ACC Academic Honor Roll...won UNC strength and conditioning Iron Ram award for his work in the weight room…played on the U.S. U19 Team which won the World Championship in the summer of 2016...was the captain of that U.S. team.
