Colin Munro
Breschi on Munro: Was injured in the fall but will be battling in the spring for a second line midfield spot…great skills…doesn’t need the ball…very smart player IQ wise…plays off ball extremely well…scored a big goal for us in the fall…skill wise he’s got it…he’s a lacrosse junkie…always has his stick, always trying to get better by watching film…he’s going to help us either at attack or midfield.
2018 (Freshman): Played in five games overall…his season was cut short by a hand injury after he got off to a promising start…played on man-up unit early in year…had a goal and three assists…had a man-up goal and an assist versus Lafayette…recorded assists versus Furman and Lehigh…had three ground balls on the season…earned honors on 2018-19 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
High School: Attended Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo., for four years and was coached there by Jake Herman and his father, Jamie Munro…named Mountain Vista player-of-the-year…Under Armour All-America selection…two-time U.S. Lacrosse All-America selection…captained Mountain Vista squad on two occasions…tapped for All-State honors three times…led high school team to state semifinals on two occasions…did community service while a prep player…in club lacrosse, he played for Coquitlam Adanacs Junior A Team which won 2016 Minto Cup championship and was the runner-up in 2017.

I love competing for this incredible coaching staff because they bring out the best in me as a player and person.
My most underrated strength about my lacrosse game is my right hand.
My best friend on my high school lacrosse team was Jake Frane and he now plays at Notre Dame.
Every high school recruit should dream of becoming a Tar Heel because it’s a great group of players and coaches.
Section #2: Your Interests
An ideal Saturday afternoon in the summer is spent out on the lake.
My teammate with the best taste in music is Sean Morris because he’s got a great playlist.
My favorite professional sports team is the New England Patriots.
The best movie I’ve seen on a lacrosse bus trip is Why Him?
The foreign country I would love to visit most is Turks and Caicos because it’s beautiful.
