2023 (Graduate): Saw action in 13 games during the 2023 season • Scored a goal in four contests • Had an assist in the matchup with Virginia (4/7) • Added a groundball in three contests
2022 (Senior): Saw action in all 14 games and started five • Scored a goal in three straight games to start the season • Scored a career high two goals and an assist against Bellarmine
2021 (Junior): Did not see game action during the 2021 season
2020 (Sophomore): Had one goal against Mercer and one against Lafayette for his two points of the shortened season • Had one ground ball against Mercer, Lafayette and Bryant • Also saw action against Colgate and at Furman • Season canceled after seven games due to the COVID-19 pandemic • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll • Tar Heel Scholar-Athlete for the spring and fall semesters of 2019.
2019 (Freshman): Appeared in all 15 games, totaling three points (2g, 1a), 10 ground balls and three caused turnovers • Made his collegiate debut at Mercer • Took the first shot of his career against Harvard • Had one caused turnover versus Johns Hopkins • Picked up three ground balls versus Denver • Had a career-high two points against Marist with his first goal and first assist as a Tar Heel in addition to a ground ball and a caused turnover • Scored one goal and had three ground balls against Cleveland State • Finished the regular season with one ground ball versus Syracuse and one caused turnover at Notre Dame • Picked up two ground balls and took one shot against Syracuse in the first round of the ACC tournament • Appeared in the ACC semifinal.
Prep: Attended The Summit Country Day School in Cincinnati from 2014-18 where he was coached by Pat Collura in lacrosse • Played club lacrosse for Resolute, coached by Matt Lee, and FCA, mentored by Drew Wardlow • High school All-America in two sports • Player of the Year in soccer • Two-time offensive MVP in lacrosse • Member of FCA National Team • Served as student senator at Summit Country Day.
Personal: Harrison Hardin Schertzinger is the son of Kathleen and Howard Schertzinger • Born September 21 in Cincinnati, Ohio • Has a twin brother, Henry, and an older sister, Meredith • His brother is also a sophomore on the UNC lacrosse team • Majoring in business administration.
