Competed in football, basketball, baseball and wrestling at East Gaston High in Mt. Holly. Most Valuable Player of the football team as a senior. Played tight end and quarterback for Coach Earl Lingafeldt. Two-time wrestling MVP. Born Jason Benny Helton on March 23, 1978. Majoring in political science. Favorite teams are the Atlanta Braves and Miami Dolphins. Favorite athletes include Dan Marino and Chipper Jones. Greatest achievement in athletics was wrestling in the high school nationals in Las Vegas. His brother-in-law, Bryan Hough, was also a deep snapper at Carolina. Hobbies are fishing, hunting and golf.
