Played four seasons at quarterback at West Carteret High School in Morehead City. Earned all-conference, all-area and team MVP honors. Passed for 2500 yards and 24 touchdowns and rushed for 1,200 yards and 15 scores. Also played baseball, basketball and ran track. Named West Carteret’s Best All-Around Athlete. National Honor Society student. Transferred to Carolina from the U.S. Military Academy. Born Scott Thomas McBride on March 14, 1980. Favorite athletes are Michael Jordan and John Elway.
