What is the best thing about being at UNC? The support from my teammates
Away from gymnastics and my academic pursuits, I like to spend time… listening to music and napping
My greatest strength as a gymnast is… perseverance
Biggest sports thrill and why? First time I caught a Geinger! Also, senior year my twin brother’s soccer team made it to playoffs and I filled my car with friends and we drove two hours to cheer on our friends in the freezing rain. They were ranked well below the other team, but we won after an amazing an really close game!! I will always remember that trip!
Person who had the greatest influence on your career and why: my mom; she was a gymnast herself and always had the best advice
Favorite Food: Greek yogurt
Funny or interesting fact about yourself: I find four leaf clovers all the time
Favorite class at UNC and why: PSYC 101 with Dr. Penn. I sit with the best group and Dr. Penn really loves what he does
At what age did you first start participating in gymnastics and what is your earliest memory of gymnastics? I started rec classes when I was 6 and my earliest memory is making an aerial
The funniest nickname on the team belongs to: Morgan Lane – Moniqua. Amy [Smith] gave her that nickname to bring out some sass in her floor routine. We call it her alter ego
What song would you sing if you were on The Voice? Dinosaur by Ke$ha or Sunday Morning by Maroon 5 because I know all the words and, if I can’t get picked for a team, at least I would get a laugh
What reality show would you most like to be on? Survivor
If I could go to dinner with one famous person it would be: Nastia Liukin. Her life seems so cool and I would love to learn more about her as a person
