Fifteen Gymnasts Earn Academic All-America Honors

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association announced the Academic All-America and Top Team GPA Lists for the 2025-26 academic year Wednesday afternoon. Carolina gymnastics had 15 All-America honorees while ranking in the top 20 for team GPA across the NCAA.Â

Student-athletes must have either a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 or a minimum 3.5 GPA for the academic year to earn this award. Three Carolina gymnasts achieved a 3.90 or higher (Hannah Aoki – 3.97, Molly Neinstein – 4.00, and Amy Wozniak – 3.98).

As a team, the Tar Heels finished the year with a 3.7581 GPA. Carolina ranks first in the ACC and 19th in the NCAA for team GPA.Â
