Six Gymnasts Earn All-ACC Academic Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the All-ACC Academic Teams for Gymnastics Thursday afternoon. North Carolina gymnastics had six gymnasts on this year's team. The Tar Heels on the list include Gwen Fink, Kaya Forbes, Elly King, Neve King, Jessica Naranjo, and Claire Stippich.
Seniors Gwen Fink and Kaya Forbes have both earned All-ACC academic honors each year they were eligible during their career. They are set to graduate this May along with Claire Stippich who is also on this year's academic team.
This year marks the third consecutive All-ACC academic award for Jessica Naranjo. Juniors Elly King and Neve King earn the honors for the second time in their career.
Beginning in 2025-26, academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are undergraduate student-athletes who have been enrolled at the institution at least one academic year, earned a cumulative GPA of 3.00 including a 3.00 GPA in most recent two semesters, and competed in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
