General: Two-time returning letter winner on the Tar Heels’ defensive unit...will be counted on to see increased minutes this year as a close defender and man-down unit member.
2000 Season: Saw increased playing time as a sophomore...played both some long stick midfield defense and on the man-down defensive unit...played in 11 games for the Tar Heels as a sophomore...had four goals and three takeaways...played his best game of the season against Maryland with two ground balls and two takeaways.
1999 Season: Saw action as a reserve defenseman as a freshman against both Colgate and Air Force...made great contributions to the team as an outstanding practice player.
Prep: Played both football and lacrosse at the Gilman School...was a linebacker and tight end in football and played all of the positions on the lacrosse field except goalkeeper...his Gilman team was the 1998 MIAA lacrosse champions...a three time Loch Raven Summer League all-star.
