Cam's coming off a knee injury. Will be returning from his second knee surgery.
We're going to start him down at the defensive middie end of things when he comes back in January.
A great two-way guy, much like Greg McBride, who we feel can play at both ends of the field. A great athlete.
General: Returning letter winner who looks to rebound from year lost to knee surgery...one of the top all-around athletes on the team...5-11, 195-pound midfielder.
2011 (Sophomore): Took a medical redshirt year after suffering knee injury in preseason scrimmage...Carolina Leadership Academy Rising Star.
2010 (Freshman): Saw action in all 16 games as a freshman and started in the first midfield against Robert Morris and Ohio State...had two goals and an assist...had the game-clinching goal in the final minute against Johns Hopkins...scored in the win at Robert Morris...assisted on Mark Staines' game-winning goal with 4:52 to play in the NCAA Tournament win over Delaware...had six ground balls including two against Delaware...named to 2009-10 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prep: Graduated from Chatham High School in Chatham, N.J., where he played lacrosse and was coached by Steve Manitta...was the New Jersey Midfielder of the Year in 2009...named a high school All-America his senior year...first-team All-State selection...was team captain and MVP at Chatham in 2009...played on teams which won conference championship in 2007 and was New Jersey Group II state finalists in 2008 & 2009...selected to play in the 2008 Garden State Games... honor roll student.
Community Service & Leadership: A Rising Star in the Carolina Leadership Academy in 2010-11...volunteers with the Carolina Kid's Cart project at UNC Children's Hospital...in high school worked at Jaycee Christmas tree lot.

1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel lacrosse player is being part of the Tar Heel family.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Breschi is his passion.
3. Since last year the aspects of my training I've worked on the most are rehabbing my knee and shooting.
4. My best friend on another college lacrosse team is Steve Marchetto at Denver.
5. My greatest strength as a lacrosse player is my speed.

1. The best movie I've seen recently is Wet Hot American Summer.
2. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be football.
3. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Ultra Music Festival.
4. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is playing hide and seek with my cat.

1. After a game at Fetzer Field, I'd like to see a tailgate spread that included chips and queso, steak and steamed vegetables (broccoli and carrots).
2. My favorite beverage is Arnold Palmer.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is chocolate chip cookies made by my mom or grandma.
4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is IP3.
