Lacrosse Team Named Tar Heels of Week
The University of North Carolina men's lacrosse team has been named the Tar Heel Performers of the Week for April 22-28, 2013.
North Carolina won its first ACC championship in 17 years this past Sunday, beating Virginia 16-13 in the championship game at Kenan Stadium. Two days earlier, Carolina defeated Duke 18-17 in the semifinals. Marcus Holman was named the Tournament Most Valuable Player and was joined on the All-Tournament Team by R.G. Keenan, Kieran Burke, Davey Emala and Chad Tutton.
