Dalinka Named UNC Performer of the Week

Brandon Dalinka tied for 10th place at the NCAA Tempe Regional, the final event of the year for the Tar Heels. Dalinka fired a 2-under-par 68 in the first round followed by a 3-under 67 in the second round and a 1-over 71 in the final round. His 4-under 206 total put him in a three-way tie for 10th place in the individual race. Carolina finished ninth with a 12-over 852 total at the ASU Karsten Golf Course, a par 70, 7,036-yard layout. Only the top five teams and the top individual not on those five teams advance on to the NCAA Championships.
