2003: Freshman season
Played in all 12 games and started at Clemson and at Georgia Tech • One of 12 true freshmen to play during the season • Was one of eight true freshmen to play in the season opener against Florida State • Caught 10 passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns on the season • Was one of 10 Tar Heels to catch at least 10 passes during the year • Made his first career catch at Wisconsin in the third game of the season • Had two receptions for 19 yards against the Badgers • Caught two passes for 84 yards, including a 76-yard touchdown pass from Matt Baker at NC State • Outraced the NC State defense 50 yards down the sideline after the catch to score his first career TD • Caught two passes for 41 yards and a touchdown at Clemson • Had a 21-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter against the Tigers • Made three catches for 32 yards at Georgia Tech.
