  Is expected to contend for the starting center position this fall despite missing spring practice due to surgery on his right shoulder  Is a versatile player that has shown an ability to play all three offensive line positions. 
2005 & 2006 - Sophomore Season
 Started the last seven games, six at right tackle and one at center  Made his first career start against South Florida  Versatile lineman who was a center last season and can also play guard  Played in the Georgia Tech and NC State games in 2005 before injuring his shoulder and receiving a medical redshirt  Was competing for the starting position before the injury. 
2004 - Freshman Season
 Played in eight games as a reserve offensive tackle. 
Strake Jesuit College Prep
 A three-year starter at Strake Jesuit, an independent high school in Texas  Served as team captain as a senior  Came from a run-oriented program at Jesuit, which was 10-0 during his sophomore season  Helped lead the Jesuit freshman team to a 10-0 record  His father, Jim, was an offensive tackle at North Texas State under Haden Fry  Coached by Ron Counter  Had a 3.6 GPA.

 Son of Jim and Sandy Lemming  Born Benjamin James Lemming on October 2, 1985  Enjoys playing guitar and singing  Pretended to be Emmitt Smith and Marc Broussard as a kid  Says the best word to describe him is "character"  Would like to improve his pass protection this season  Says the best thing about attending Carolina is that "it feels like home"  Business major.
