2009 - Sophomore Season
Was competing for the right tackle position, but was lost for the year after tearing the ACL in his left knee during preseason practice and was not eligible for a medical redshirt because he had redshirted in 2007.
2008 - Freshman Season
Played in games against Rutgers, Connecticut, Boston College, Georgia Tech and NC State on special teams and as a reserve tackle.

Ranked among the top 100 prospects in Florida by the Orlando Sentinel Earned first-team all-state honors in the 5A classification by the Florida Sportswriters Association Also named first-team All-Space Coast Played in Florida's North-South All-Star Game Also played in the Central Florida All-Star Game Coached by Dan Burke.
