2019 - Senior Season

Started all 12 games he appeared in at left tackle • Missed the App State game after breaking his hand at Wake Forest • Named second team All-ACC • Surrendered only 1/3 of a sack all season long • Posted 43 knockdowns to lead the team • Blocked for an offense that averaged 474.0 yards per game (12th NCAA/2nd ACC), including 285.8 passing yards per game (3rd ACC) and 188.2 rushing yards per game (4th ACC) • Began the season on the Outland Trophy Watch List • Selected ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week after the season-opening victory over South Carolina • Graded out at 82 percent and had a season-high seven knockdowns against the Gamecocks • Graded out at 83 percent at Duke and 80 percent against Miami • Had a season-high grade of 91 percent against Mercer.

2018 - Junior Season

Started all 11 games at right tackle • Blocked for an offense that averaged 442.1 yards per game (31st NCAA), including 193.0 rushing yards per contest • Led an offensive line that allowed just 0.91 sacks per game (10 sacks/7th NCAA/2nd ACC) • Earned the team’s Lineman of the Week honors against ECU and Virginia • Graded out at 82 or higher in seven of the nine graded games • Posted 42 knockdowns over the nine graded games • Posted a grade of 75 and had six knockdowns at Cal • Had a team-best 88 grade with five knockdowns at ECU • Tallied an 83 versus Pitt • Recorded an 83 with four knockdowns versus Virginia Tech • Added seven knockdowns with an 82 at Syracuse • Notched his best grade of the season, an 88 with three knockdowns at Virginia • Tallied an 87 with seven knockdowns at Duke.

2017 - Sophomore Season

Appeared in all 12 games and started the last 11 of the season • Graded out at 84 percent in the season finale at NC State • Had an 84 percent grade with three knockdown blocks in wins over Western Carolina and Pitt • Finished second on the team with six knockdowns against Miami • Had a team-best 85 percent grade against Virginia • Finished with a season-best 10 knockdowns against Louisville • Tallied nine knockdowns at Georgia Tech • His 85 percent grade was second-best on the team against Duke • All-ACC Academic Team selection.

2016 - Redshirt Freshman Season

Saw action in eight games, including the Sun Bowl • Redshirted in 2015.

Rockhurst High School

Rated the No. 14 player in Missouri by Rivals.com and the No. 15 player in Missouri by Scout.com • Team captain as a senior • Helped lead Rockhurst to a 12-2 record and the Missouri Class 6A state championship game • Earned first-team all-district and all-metro honors • Named second-team all-state • Played a variety of positions, including tight end, offensive tackle and defensive end • Honor roll student • Coached by Tony Severino.

Personal

Son of Jennifer and Andy Heck • Andy was a first-team All-America offensive tackle for Notre Dame and played on the 1988 National Championship team • Andy coached three seasons at Virginia and is currently the offensive line coach for the Kansas City Chiefs • Brother Jon graduated from UNC in December 2016 and was a four-year starter at right tackle • Graduated with a degree in sports administration • Birthday is Nov. 20.
