Angela Kirkpatrick joined the North Carolina football program in October 2017 as the team’s director of on-campus recruiting. A 2016 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Kirkpatrick develops and monitors strategic planning for UNC’s recruiting operations. Additionally, she coordinates on-campus recruiting efforts with a primary focus on official visits, unofficial visits, gameday recruiting programming, junior days and special events. In her role, Kirkpatrick helped the Carolina program sign its highest rated class in the last eight years.

Prior to coming to Chapel Hill, Kirkpatrick worked at her alma mater as a recruiting operations graduate assistant. While earning her bachelor’s in journalism and electronic media at UT, she spent four years working with undergraduate admissions in student recruitment. Kirkpatrick also spent the summer of 2015 as a communications assistant with the Atlanta Falcons.
