Shakeel Rashad joined the Carolina Football staff in 2018 as a defensive quality control assistant. A third-team All-ACC linebacker as a senior at UNC, Rashad started all 14 games in 2015 as the Tar Heels went 11-3 and won the ACC Coastal Division title. Rashad, who spent two seasons with the Houston Texans following his time at Carolina, graduated with a double major in communications and exercise and sport science.
