Appeared in four games on special teams • Made one tackle at Wake Forest • Suffered a season-ending injury that cut his season short.

2018 - Senior Season

Appeared in six games, starting two • Posted four tackles, an INT and three PBU • Made one tackle at ECU • Broke up a pass at Duke • Recorded two tackles and a PBU versus Western Carolina • Tallied a tackle and an INT against NC State.

2017 - Junior Season

Appeared in the first three games of the season and made two starts before missing the rest of the year due to injury • Had one tackle against Louisville and ODU • Made his fourth career start and finished with three tackles (two solo) and combined on a TFL against Cal.

2016 - Sophomore Season

Appeared in all 13 games and made two starts • Appeared primarily in nickel package as a third corner • Finished the regular season with 16 total tackles, including one tackle for loss.

2015 - True Freshman Season

Played in three games and saw action on 45 snaps, primarily on special teams.

Hough High School

Ranked the No. 24 player in North Carolina and among the top 100 cornerback prospects in the country • Posted 23 tackles, intercepted six passes for 73 yards, had five pass breakups as a senior leading Hough to a 10-4 record • Returned 10 kickoff for 170 yards and 10 punts for 212 yards • Also had 12 receptions for 124 yards and two TDs • Named to the All-Charlotte Observer team • High school head coach was Miles Aldridge.

Nickname is “C-Bell” • Originally wore No. 18 at UNC because he wore it in high school • Person who had the biggest impact on his life is his father Myron Bell, who was a safety in the NFL and started in Super Bowl XXX for Pittsburgh • Son of Myron and Kimberly Bell • Graduated with degrees in sports administration and interpersonal and organizational communication • Birthday is Jan. 23.
