2000 • Junior Season
Played in seven games at wide receiver and on special teams • Injured his hamstring against Georgia Tech and missed the next three games • Played a total of 94 snaps, including a season-high 27 at Florida State • Had one special teams tackle vs. Marshall.
1999 • Sophomore Season
Played in seven games at wide receiver and as a special teams standout • Had four receptions for 38 yards • Had receptions against Florida State, Clemson, Maryland and Duke • Each of the last three catches were for first downs and were for 11, 15 and 10 yards, respectively • Missed several games due to a concussion • Played 98 snaps.
1998 • Freshman Season
Outstanding special teams contributor as a freshman • Also saw limited action as a reserve wide receiver • Had five special teams tackles in the season opening game against Miami • Blocked a punt against Pittsburgh midway through the fourth quarter • Two plays after the blocked punt, UNC scored a touchdown • Caught two passes for 21 yards • Had a 12-yard catch against Georgia Tech and a nine-yard reception against Clemson • Played in the first nine games • Injured a hamstring early in the game at Virginia • Did not play in the final three games • Saw action on 163 snaps • Was red-shirted in 1997.
