General: Three-year returning letter winner who is a key part of UNC's five-woman diving corps in 2010-11...her career best scores put her in the top six in UNC history in all three diving events.
2010-11 (Junior): Named the recipient of the Richard Jamerson Memorial Most Improved Performer award on the 2010-11 Tar Heel team...had a pair of career best scores at the ACC Championships, earning a score of 282.00 in three-meter diving and a tally of 218.90 in platform diving...named to CSCAA Women's Scholar All-America honorable mention team...placed in three events and scored in two at the ACC Championships...she finished ninth in three-meter diving with a score of 282.80, 13th in 10-meter platform diving with a score of 218.80 and 20th in one-meter diving with a score of 240.90...named to Dean's List in spring semester 2011.
2009-10 (Sophomore): Finished 17th in platform diving at the 2010 NCAA zone diving championships.
2008-09 (Freshman): Part of the 20-member ACC scoring squad as a first-year participant...she competed in one and three-meter diving and well as platform diving at the ACC Championships.
Prep: Graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High in June 2008... made the finals at her high school state competitions all four years in one-meter diving...named All-America on one-meter board her sophomore, junior and senior years...named an NISCA Top 40 selection as a one-meter diver her junior and senior years...named to the Miami-Dade All-County second team her freshman, sophomore and junior years...named to the All-County first team her senior year...qualified for Nationals from 2003-2008.
Personal: Name is Kristin Lee Arnold...daughter of John and Tracy Arnold...was born September 16, 1989 in Miami, Fla. ...has two brothers...communication studies major...her grandfather, Peter Hochreiter, played soccer, baseball and basketball at Duke.

Section #1: Swimming & Diving
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel diver is being surrounded by great and inspiring people.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Lawrence is that he is a great motivator, making me want to perform my absolute best.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is building up my confidence to execute my dives off the 10--meter platform on a more consistent basis.
4. My best friend on another college diving team is Bianca Alvarez of Ohio State.
5. My greatest strength as a diver is my consistency.
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academics, I like to spend time relaxing and watching movies.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is Bridesmaids.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be gymnastics.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is the Goo Goo Dolls.
Section #3: Food & Beverage
1. After a big meet, I'd like to eat at a buffet spread that included burgers and fries.
2. My favorite beverage is orange Gatorade.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is flank steak by my Grandfather.
4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is Nantucket.
5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is Five Guys Burgers.
Section #4: Personality
1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I would go to the U.S. in the Roaring 20s because life just seemed so fun and carefree.
2. My most prized personal possession is I really don't have one...but I guess if I had to pick it'd be my photo albums. I love pictures.
3. If I could go to dinner with a famous person it would be James Franco.
4. My dream job is to be a photographer for National Geographic Magazine.
5. The most interesting person I've met in my time at UNC is David Solarz.
